Lexi challenged the Saltbox Studio design team to come up with a card creation using the color combo of Cabana Blue and Swiss Red. Well, you know me, I've got to shabby it up whenever I can! I added a little coffee to this cream.
I love this sentiment from The Saltbox Studio because it reminds me of old samplers that displayed an inspirational message. (My Great Aunt, Tante Mimi, used to have a tea towel hand embroidered with little ducks wearing raincoats. The sentiment said "Don't Duck Me, Use Me!" None of us were brave enough to use the towel...it was too pretty!)
I added the hand-stitching to give it that sampler touch. I've been dying to use this new Martha Stewart punch. It has such a homespun/vintage touch.
{recipe: Simplicity (The Saltbox Studio), amuse notecards, versafine onyx and sepia inkpads, prisma markers, MS punch}
